Quickly Annihilate Cravings For Junk Consuming Just Green Smoothies

I don’t feel that it’s far off to suggest that having just green smoothies really does offer pretty near all the components that your human body needs to maintain health. Shy of just Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D, I believe, these smoothies offer it all (yes, protein as well). This biggest issue for me when I started on green smoothies were the unhealthy cravings. Learn how I got past them forever.

I wish to start out by stating that the contents of this article merely my opinion based on information I have read from expert authors in addition to the 10+ years living and eating the way I have on a daily basis. Also, with my twice a year blood work that shows no deficiencies, I think that this information is very valuable. It could be that it works just for me, my genetics and body type, I can’t say for certain. However, just like smoking tobacco will certainly have an affect on each of us with varying degrees of health negatives, green smoothies, I feel, will certainly have an affect on each of us with varying degrees of health positives. Try it and see, after you speak with your natural, or other, health practitioner first of course.

The body is designed to heal itself right? Then why is it that so many people are sick? Perhaps it is in inaccurate statement that the body is truly designed to heal itself? No! The predicament is that we a) don’t provide it with the correct amount of tools, usually by way of diet, it needs to become whole again and b) we constantly bombard our body with junk that hinders the performance of the small amount of proper resources that we do supply it.

I’m a big advocate of raw foods. The suggestion that adding heat to foods above a specific temperature destroying required enzymes that are important for assimilation makes sense to me. Further, it is implied that to get the most from our foods that we should be chewing it it until it’s gone. Our body has troubles handling large morsels of food. Also, I feel that we can survive with a a diet of mainly fruits and dark green leafy vegetables, with the occasional healthy fats. In regards to healthy fats, avocados, soaked nuts and seeds is all I eat.

The main foods I have every single day consist of sufficient amounts of raw fruits and green veggies in the form of green smoothies. Being that they are in a liquid state, my body is able to assimilate the nutrients without a problem.

A giant hurdle for a lot of people when switching diets, and a big one for myself is managing cravings for unhealthy foods. Just like someone that is addicted to alcohol or drugs must go through a detox in an effort to heal, we essentially must to do the same thing. The cells in our body are comprised of stuff from foods that we have ingested in the past. The body usually craves more of the same unhealthy foods that contribute to the contents of each one of the cells in our body. For drug detoxes, often times, sauna therapy is used to sweat the drugs out of the system. This could help eliminate the physical cravings which could allow the person a better chance of remaining sober. For us, adjusting our eating habits will probably activate the elimination of toxic foods as well which can be quickly removed in stool, through sweat and urine. However, we may still crave those foods while some of the toxic elements in our cells are still present.

I, myself, have found that right away after having the first drink of my smoothie the cravings for salt, greasy foods, sugar, etc started to calm down. After I was finished drinking the smoothie, the cravings disappeared completely and I would be fulfilled. The issue then was that the cravings would come again as I grew hungry. So I started to make certain I was on top of it and would have another green smoothie prepared before the cravings would reoccur, or not too long after they reared their ugly heads. The cravings eventually subsided for good as I became healthier. And then I began to crave greens instead!

The question to you is, do you plan to remain sick with extra pounds or do you want to have a look at an improved diet giving your body all its required nutrition?
